A very smart trash can.
Rudy is a connected smart trash can that can track the amount of trash and bottles that have been thrown out. It has a LED strip to show how much the trashcan is filled, but it also sends all the data up to the cloud, where it is visualized on a dashboard.
Rudy is a part of the overall initiative of DTU Library, my current workplace, where we want to create a more smart and connected study environment, hence the department name “DTU Smart Library”.
